THE ROAD TRIP – RUD.dk

Some people hate it, but I enjoy driving cars. As long as it is not in the city but as far as possible from everyone else. I like sports cars and muscle cars, mostly those with at least an 8 cylinder engine. The Corvette is a favorite so I have enjoyed travelling to the US, rent a car and go driving. I have some favorite places. I like Arizona, around Oak Creek, just driving around, go wine tasting, mountain biking etc.

In this video series, I go on my third road trip by myself to some of my favorite places in my favorite car.

Travel: Vlog Day 0 - Beginning my road trip in the Corvette Stingray

I travel to the other side of the planet by alone for a vacation for a road trip in the Corvette Stingray and I am wondering if I get the ...car I rented. The whole point of the vacation is to go to the USA and drive a proper American car, but so far it doesn't look good. I have rented at Corvette Stingray from Hertz in Las Vegas at McCarran Airport. I have a preference for American sports and muscle cars and I really liked the previous iteration of the Corvette that we also rented from Hertz. Starting in Las Vegas, Nevada, driving down to Tuscon, Arizona, up to Sedona, where I am looking forward to go mountain biking again.

Since I planned the vacation half a year ago, I have been keeping an eye out for the rentals, booking etc and had to call a few times because my booking seemed to vanish.
It is the first time I try to do a proper vlog during a vacation but I tought it could be a fun thing to do. I enjoy editing videos when I am not on vacations so why not combine the two.

So the vacation is coming to an end soon, a final day on the trails on the bike and then back to Las Vegas. But all is not well, it seems that there is something wrong with the car, a weird grinding noise from the transmission I assume. 🙁 I have booked a room at the Bellagio with fountain view so I can get a great view of the fountains.
