The Rode PSA1 setup of the microphone arm. This is how you do it right! I have used the Rode PSA1 it for years, but not really done a proper install of it so with my new solid wood desktop, it is time to install it right! I really like the microphone and I think the arm works very well for me. It seems to me that everyone are lazy and not using it right. #rode #DIY
More RGB LED goodness as I am cutting the Legato Light strip trying to figure out how to use the Connector Set to the Light Strip Extension. Now that I almost have finished building my battle station and my YouTube studio, I wanted to make this video because I have found plenty of videos about the Light Strip but not any information on the Connector Set. The video on my other channel about the Elgato mounts: https://youtu.be/Xkq4QwXZYeI #Elgato #LED Chapters: 00:00 Intro 00:22 Why am I making this video 00:50 Not an unboxing, unboxing 01:55 Light Strip Extension 02:23 Light
Last live stream went well, but there were room for improvement. What should you use? So I have invested in more gear, a USB PCIE card for more video bandwidth to my gaming rig, another Elgato Cam Link 4K go use with my cameras. Will be dropping the iPhone 7 from the setup, running my Panasonic camcorder and 2 GoPro’s instead. A Hero 6 and a Hero 9. One of them using HDMI the other GoPro as a webcam using USB.
Rather than repeating what is already there in the guides online, I will just cover the few things they have left out or needs to be updates so in this video there will just be a few useful tips and hints if you want to play with something that would be used in a petabyte scale setup. I am throwing in some hints to help you get started and have fun! In this setup, I am running it on my gaming PC, using VMware Player. There are free options available for doing virtualization. I probably have been watching too much @Pan TheOrganizer lately, but here’s a 1 minute summary of how I do my weekly maintenance wash. I don’t always apply the coating, it depends on how the water behaves when I wash it. I might switch to the Turtle Wax ceramic coating, but their latest product isn’t available in Europe yet, so I have already purchased one of their latest version available around here.
