I mid June, lockdown had got to me and since the weather was nice, I just drove to Germany to experience something. So I visited the border shop, twice, charged my car for free bought some rum and soft drinks. Had my first supercharger session outside my country, travelled on a ferry and then drove back home. 🙂
Today a little video about something that makes me happy. Charging my electric car for free using solar power. Now all I need is a Tesla power wall but that is not viable or even a good economic solution. Link to solar power status: https://rud.dk/wps/index.php/solar-power/ Link to website: https://rud.dk/
Today I decided to see what the actual cost of heating my Tesla before driving. I have a FLIR camera and a meter on the plug to the car so I can see what actually happens when the battery is frozen. I will be measuring the peak kW draw as well as the total kWh used. it should be interesting to see how many kilowatt hours it uses. In this video we take a look at what a supercharging sessions looks like. How fast and how to charge right to minimise waiting time. This is on my secondary channel because I missed some recording because it was one of my first supercharging sessions and I thought the status screen would be on when I left the car.
So I got the packages with the EVSE and the floor mats, so let’s se what’s inside. I am unboxing it and opening it up to see if it matches the manual. It was a little while ago I got them but better late than never. 00:00 Intro 01:21 Unboxing floormats 02:31 Unboxing Wall Connector 07:15 Opening up Wall Connector 09:55 Looking inside 10:57 Conclusion #EVSE #EV #ChargingAtHome
It is always fun do dig into stuff and so I am looking at which sites and services on the internet that car is talking to. Amazon, Apple, Google or others? #tesla #privacy #ev #electriccar I can recommend @fullychargedshow if you want to see videos about EVs and renewable energy. Even though the current state of the planet makes it hard to go shopping for a new car, I finally got an EV and I hope I will never have to drive an ICE car again. So this is my first electric car, I don’t ever want to drive an ICE car again. This is too comfortable. 🙂 As you might know, I didn’t expect to buy a @Tesla but they were the only ones who could deliver. The other company went into complete radio silence and didn’t even bother to tell me it was delayed. #tesla #EV #electric #green
Episode 5 of my EV-log where I talk about not having received my electric car. I have reserved for delivery in March. But that isn’t going to happen and they don’t know when they will be able to deliver it. It seems that the Peugeot e-208 have been delayed with no delivery date in sight. Thanks to @CruisingTheCut for the voice-over. 🙂
