You all know by now, that I liked to go to Sedona for wine tasting, mountain biking etc. Or rather, a little south of Sedona, Village of Oak Creek where we would rent a house.
Sunrise over Sedona, going mountain biking
Recorded in and around Sedona, the bell rock, the village of Oak Creek, Bike & Bean, etc.
And the music are almost on topic for various reasons, but you need to go a few miles further south to find the Verde river. So Green Valley seems fitting. π
Inspired by a great time we had in Arizona and Sedona.
I hope to be able to get back there sometime again. π
It was recorded in 1080P / 50 FPS except for 2-3 iPhone clips, but Youtube seems to butcher the quality quite a bit.
(update: Now that youtube supports higher frame rates, I hope they will update old videos sometime)Show More

Visiting Jerome, Arizona
(Music changed because of BS copyright claim so ignore the credits at the end of the video, it is not relevant because it was those idiots who claimed it. ) Went cruising to Jerome to do a bit of wine tasting and took a look around.

Our MTB ride to Devils Bridge, AZ
Visiting Devils Bridge near Sedona, Arizona. It was a average hot day for late september when we took the bikes to see Devils Bridge. I did a bit of GPS tracking(the blue line on the map). Had to walk the last part up there and was a bit unsure of the final route. But there were sticks and logs pointing in the right direction. Not hard to get do but there's a some [...]

Sedona Winefest 2014
Visited Sedona Winefest in 2014, tasted a lot of different wines, talked to a lot of people and had a very pleasant afternoon. On the way home, our taxi drivers sharp eyes caught a tarantula crossing the road so he hit the brakes and helped it safely over the road

Around Oak Creek
Cacti and sand, a river with some dogs playing, mountainbikes and sun. A lot of the places around Oak Creek had been closed off due to fears of flash floods(can't remember if this place was though) so when they opened up again, a lot of people was out enjoying nature.

Page Springs Cellars
Visited Page Springs Cellars. The footage clearly shows that we spent more time tasting wine than shooting video. π A cozy place with great wines so we bought some to take home. Had lunch there, an excellent pizza. Would like to visit again some time. Apparently they were installing solar power, forgot to ask about that.

Call of the Canyon, West Fork Oak Creek
Filmed in October 2, 2014, the area had just reopened after flash flood warnings were over. Plenty of evidence of the wildfire earlier that year as you can see on the video. Perhaps most scary was that not only could you see large areas in other places but sometimes it as just a small patch, or a single tree detached from other areas that had burned. Anyway just took [...]

Our visit to Cottonwood, Arizona
Stopped by for a quick wine tasting at Arizona Stronghold.

Sedona Winefest
In 2015, we visited again the Sedona winefest. A great opportunity to sample some of the wines from Arizona, talk to other tourists and people who knows a great deal more about wine than I. Of course we still (re)visited a bunch of tasting rooms and vineyards. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it. On a editing note. This year we brought a new microphone which [...]

Stuff: Blood moon over Sedona
Blood moon and lunar eclipse over Sedona, Arizona. One picture pr. second at 50 FPS. Did not film the whole thing. The moon moves quite fast when you zoom in. π
